Regulation of APAC

The implementation of new Report Models for Outpatient Procedure Requests/Authorization included changing High-Complexity/Cost Procedure Authorizations to Outpatient Procedure Authorizations (APAC), while preserving the acronym APAC (PT/SAS/MS No. 768, October 26, 2006).

The ‘APAC Requestor’ profile is intended for the establishment requesting the APAC report. It allows tracking of the request through its various stages, searching for ongoing requests, issuing the APAC report, and entering the report into the system.
